NATOs Coming to Dayton

Heads Up: Changes Coming to Downtown Dayton

This spring, downtown Dayton will play host to an exciting international event—the 2025 NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA) Spring Session. While it’s an honor to welcome global leaders to our city, we understand your biggest question is: how will this affect my daily routine?

Here’s what you need to know:

Limited Vehicle Access

Due to security and logistics for the event, certain downtown areas will have restricted vehicle access. Be sure to check the map to see exactly which streets will be affected. If you regularly drive downtown, consider alternate routes and plan ahead.

Pedestrian Access Changes

While foot traffic will still be allowed in most areas, access within the NATO Village will be restricted. You’ll still be able to reach open businesses through designated access points—but free movement within the secure zone won’t be possible.

Stay Updated

The Dayton Police Department will share regular updates on access changes and traffic patterns. These updates will help you navigate downtown with minimal disruption.

As the event draws closer, we’ll continue to share important updates so you’re always in the know.
